BACKGROUND

Elizabeth Workman is a Graduate Assistant for the UNC Charlotte Urban Institute. She is pursuing her master's degree in public administration at UNC Charlotte. She received her bachelor's degree in political science from UNC Charlotte in 2010. Her research interests include local and state government, urban and suburban issues, and social demographics.
